Journey Highlight:

  • Come face to face with the notorious ” Tsavo man-eaters” as you move through the expansive Tsavo West National Park, where lions once hunted railway workers on the construction of the Uganda Railway.
  • Admire the stunning views and rich biodiversity of Tsavo West, from mountains to river forests, and get acquainted with a variety of wildlife, such as lions and elephants.
  • Go on a tour of the Shetani as well as Chaimu Lava Flows, and pay a visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to underwrite the conservation efforts for the rhinos.
  • You will be indulged in the amazing views of Mzima Springs which have a glass tank for underwater viewing, a hotbed of life.
  • Proceed to Tsavo East National Park, a global leader in conservation, and take a driving adventure across the savanna grasslands, carpeted in tall grass with acacia trees dotted around.

Day 1: Journey Towards Tsavo West National Park

Kicking off your adventure, you’re met by Nature Expeditions and transported to Tsavo West National Park home to the much-feared “Man eaters of Tsavo”. Gape at the varied habitats from the highlands to the escarpments to the river forest, lakes and finally the wooded grasslands

Day 2: Exploring Tsavo West National Park

Immerse deeper into Tsavo West and discover its great secrets, walk through the Shetani and Chaimu Lava Flows and enjoy the birdlife numbering 600 species. The Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary was developed to support conservation efforts and lions, following the footsteps of the man-eaters of the past. Forget not to visit Mzima Springs with a special underwater glass tank that allows you to see this oasis from the inside out.

Day 3: A Drive to Tsavo East National Park

Following breakfast, continue driving to Tsavo East National Park, a biodiversity center alive with wild species. Join an exciting game-viewing trip in the bush savannah with the open grasslands, and behold the beauty of bush and acacia forests. Coal in your safari bucket, a unique lodge nestled in the heart of the park, and a moonlight evening around the plenitude of nature.

Day 4: Departure to Diani

Leaving Tsavo, relocate back to Diani to finish up your safari experience. Remember magical moments and feel blessed to have been in Kenya, where the snow-white elephants live in the wild.
