Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park

You are met by Nature Expeditions and drive to Tsavo West National Park, the largest park in the country. Tsavo West is famed for the notorious “Man Eaters of Tsavo”. The man-eating lions preyed on the railway linesmen building the great Uganda Railway. The park offers remarkable views with a variety of habitats ranging from mountains, river forests, lakes, and wooded grassland.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park

Spend a further day in the park which features the Shetani & Chaimu Lava Flows, excellent bird watching with over 600 species. Apart from the elephant population, there are many lions – some undoubtedly the descendants of the famous Man-eaters of Tsavo! There is also the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, established to protect the highly poached Rhino which was close to extinction. Mzima Springs is yet another feature, whose source is the Chyulu Hills. An observation platform and an underwater glass tank provide a special vantage point to view this remarkable oasis.

Day 3: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, depart and drive to Tsavo East National Park. It is one of the World’s leading bio-diversity strongholds, with bushy grassland and open plains alternating with savannah and semi-arid acacia scrub and woodlands. Have lunch, and after enjoy a captivating game-viewing drive, encountering a diverse array of wildlife amidst the park’s unique terrain. As the sun sets, return for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 4: Tsavo East to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, a renowned gem in Kenya’s wilderness. Here, the park is celebrated for both its abundant big game and its breathtaking vistas of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch then go on a nature walk that extends until the sun sets, allowing you to connect intimately with the park’s unique ecosystem, its diverse flora and fauna, and the iconic presence of Kilimanjaro in the backdrop.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Spend a full day in Amboseli, known for its massive herds of elephants, some of which have the largest tusks in Kenya. Enjoy morning and afternoon game-viewing drives, soaking in the park’s incredible wildlife and landscapes.

Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and embark on your journey back to Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off, marking the end of your remarkable safari adventure.
