Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Start your day with an early morning departure from Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, situated in the southern part of the country. Arrive at Amboseli in time for a delicious lunch and check in at your camp, where you’ll be staying for the next two nights. After lunch, take some time to rest and settle into your camp.

In the afternoon, get ready for an exciting game drive in Amboseli. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, offering you a great chance to see these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out for other wildlife like lions, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Return to your camp as the sun sets for a hearty dinner and spend the night surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Full Day at Amboseli National Park

Wake up before dawn to experience a breathtaking sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro, one of Africa’s most iconic and photogenic sights. Embark on an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of the wildlife during their most active hours. The soft morning light offers excellent opportunities for photography. Thereafter, return to your camp for a satisfying breakfast and some leisure time to relax and unwind. After lunch, head out for another game drive, exploring different areas of Amboseli National Park. Keep your camera ready to capture the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. If you’re interested, take an optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about their unique culture, traditions, and way of life.

Enjoy dinner at your camp and spend another comfortable night in the heart of the African wilderness.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Enjoy your last breakfast at Amboseli before bidding farewell to this beautiful park. Depart Amboseli and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by picturesque landscapes. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for a well-deserved lunch at your lodge, where you’ll be spending the night. In the afternoon, set out on a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha. This is a great opportunity to spot hippos and a variety of bird species that inhabit the area. Continue your adventure by exploring Crescent Island, a unique sanctuary where you can walk amidst gentle herbivores such as zebras and giraffes. As the day comes to an end, return to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara.

After breakfast, leave Lake Naivasha behind and set out on a scenic drive to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at the reserve in time for a tasty lunch at your camp, where you’ll be staying for the next two nights. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara. This vast and diverse reserve is known for its high concentration of wildlife, including the famous Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos.
Capture the beauty of the Mara’s landscapes and encounter a wide range of animals during your game drive. Return to your camp as the sun sets, and enjoy a well-prepared dinner before retiring to your comfortable accommodations for the night.

Day 5: Masai Mara Game Drives.

Prepare for a full day of thrilling game drives in the Masai Mara. Begin your adventure with an early morning game drive to catch the wildlife at sunrise. This is an ideal time to spot predators on the hunt or witness other dramatic wildlife interactions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness, maximizing your time for wildlife viewing without returning to the camp. Throughout the day, keep an eye out for the incredible diversity of wildlife that calls the Mara home. From graceful gazelles to powerful lions, the Mara offers an unforgettable safari experience. If you’re interested, take the opportunity to visit a local Maasai village and learn about their traditions and way of life. Return to your camp in the evening for a delectable dinner, sharing stories of the day’s sightings and experiences.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi.

On your final day, wake up early and embark on a last game drive in the Masai Mara to make the most of your remaining time in this wildlife haven. After your game drive, return to your camp for a satisfying breakfast and check out. Bid farewell to the Masai Mara as you start your journey back to Nairobi, reminiscing about the incredible wildlife encounters and stunning landscapes you’ve experienced over the past few days. Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure. Reflect on the memories and photographs you’ve collected as you head home or continue your travels.
